Brenda Hunting is a well renowned music educator, former past president of the Music Teachers Association, Qld and is in demand as a presenter and broadcaster of live workshops. As well as running a busy piano studio in Brisbane and monthly teaching engagements in Melbourne Australia, Brenda performs regularly both as a soloist and as part of a piano duo.
Brenda has degrees in music education, piano performance and second language acquisition and a licentiate in piano performance. Brenda is a certified teacher of the Taubman Approach and has been studying it for over ten years. Her studio comprises piano students of all ages and stages. She particularly enjoys teaching and mentoring teachers, passing on experience gained during her 40 plus years of teaching.
Anthony van den Broek runs a busy piano studio in Sydney, Australia teaching piano, music theory and composition to students of all ages. He has been researching and teaching piano pedagogy for 20 years and is an active solo and chamber musician. Anthony is an AMEB examiner and the Deputy Chair of the NSW AMEB Board.
Anthony has degrees in music, licentiates in piano performance and diplomas in music theory and history. He has a keen interest in the performance practice of music from the Baroque and Classical period and plays harpsichord and organ. Anthony is a certified teacher of the Taubman Approach to piano technique and is in demand as a teacher of concert pianists and a mentor for piano teachers, several who have completed teacher diplomas with a Taubman focus.
